Two of Hollywood's biggest stars made a stop in Miami this week. James and Henry, the Minion characters at the heart of the upcoming film Minions and Monsters, visited Inside South Florida as part of their press tour.

Fresh off the worldwide blockbuster success of Despicable Me 4 in 2024, Illumination is expanding the universe with a new chapter in what is billed as the biggest global animated franchise in history.

Minions and Monsters tells the story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world, and then banded together to save the planet from the mayhem they created.

During the visit, James and Henry answered questions about the new film, their love of bananas, Miami traffic, and which of the two is the funniest Minion — a question that nearly ended in a duel.

James, who is said to have a gift for filmmaking in the movie, also appeared very much at home in a television studio setting.

Minions and Monsters opens exclusively in theaters on July 21.
