Brandon Willington, founder and CEO of Where U?, a marketing, education and lead generation agency, is bringing his workshops to Miami in late September.
Willington, an Australian entrepreneur and digital marketing specialist, was named the Marketing Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2025. He and his team run workshops across Australia and the United States, teaching business owners how to run their own Facebook and Google ads to generate their own leads.
"Me and my team, we run workshops all over Australia and now the United States, where we help business owners divorce their lead gen agencies, learn how to run their own Facebook and Google ads so they can generate their own leads," Willington said.
Willington has been open about his own financial struggles, including carrying up to $250,000 in debt. He credits a disciplined, process-focused approach to turning things around.
"Feelings like what got me into that mess. I felt like I needed to hire more people, but math was what got me out of it," Willington said.
For others facing similar financial pressure, Willington said the key is consistency and keeping a close eye on the numbers.
"Really just focusing on the process. For me, it was making sure that I was just hitting my revenue targets and keeping my expenses down. I had an alarm every morning at 8 a.m. just to check my forecast against my actuals. I just checked out every single morning and just focus on the process," Willington said.
Willington has also written a book, which he describes as a guide for business owners looking to break free from lead generation agencies. He said every major movement in history has been anchored by a written work, and he wanted to create something that could outlast him.
"Every single mass movement in history has had a book. And if you can become more than just a man, if you can turn yourself into an icon and really share an ideal, you've become really pretty invincible," Willington said.
He said the success he has found is not out of reach for others.
"I'm not a particularly intelligent person. There's nothing clever about anything that I really do. I'm just really good at following instructions. I get advice from coaches and consultants and I just do what I'm told," Willington said.
